Ducks filter swamp slime - oil painting

When I saw how ducks eat, I've always assumed, that they work like some kind of vacuum cleaner: just suck all of swamp slime and hope that they consumed something edible. But in reality it's the opposite: ducks have sensors in their beak, so when they eat, they filter everything and get only what they want to eat. These duck and ducklings I drew from imagination.
